Hey there! You probably already know what a podcast is but I would remind you just because I’m can. LOL
A podcast is an episodic series in form of audio. It can be streamed and downloaded. But my question for you today is “What podcasts do you listen to?”
That’s a question for you, nothing rhetorical about the question.
We all know how last year took a toll on us. Everyone was fighting their battles; it wasn’t easy but we survived, still surviving.
For me, last year was well spent because I got introduced.
Not the kind of introduction you are thinking. I got introduced to a podcast which if I am being honest, I wasn’t excited about it. The person who introduced me to it however, has never disappointed and so I I decided to give it a try.
My mind was blown! I learned so many things and thought about how much more I could learn if I started having an open mind to things.
My point is:
Whatever you listen to has an impact on you.
Whoever you listen to has an impact on you.
Last year as well, I followed ‘Activation intensive with DDK’. She is a personal coach and a woman of God. Alongside this, I was also taking a class.
In order to start my day on a positive side, I’ll start it with DDK and she’ll always motivate her listeners and say things you can relate to, correct you in various aspects. This strengthened my mindset, I felt all confident every day, ready to conquer the world.
I don’t believe you do things because you want to except during leisure, be deliberate about your growth.
How do you listen to a podcast?
That’s my second question for you!.
I listened to DDK on the first day and I was blessed but I didn’t jot down anything. You know how we all assume our brains are super cool right? Well, my brain didn’t quite hold up to expectations as I couldn’t remember a handful of what she said by the next day
There are ways to learning and learning doesn’t just involve listening. It involves, taking notes, meditating & being deliberate!
I began to take notes, meditate and pray.
This is 2021, drop that rigidity and be ready to unlearn, learn and relearn. Are there some podcasts that have encouraged you or motivated you? Share with us below.
