Writing began to fascinate me when I discovered that it was way more than just a weapon or a skill set as a lot of people believe. I found out that it was powered through fingers, pens and keyboards to influence and impact. I started to take writing more seriously after reading a couple of books like the travels of Marco polo, Ramses, the Bible and others. After reading these books, I realized that I, like others, I would continually have to depend on the writings and perspectives of these writers to understand the world as it was during their times. When this hit, I didn’t scream eureka, it was a word, a homophone of a piece of cutlery. For me this was amazing. Its obvious now as it was then, that I and other writers are presently painting and shaping history for the future now!
