I’m sure you think you need a lot of money to relax. Who doesn’t? Biko money is important. In fact, if you want to relax very comfortably then you need money.
This post is not to tell you how to use a lot of money to relax. For people like me, that we are still trying to make money to become baby girls & boys, I am here to give you simple tips that you can use instead. Hope you find the below helpful 😉
- Take a hot water bath super relaxing especially when you have body aches from stress. Add citrus scent or any appealing body wash scent to experience a more refreshing moment.
- Clean your room and scent it mildly with air freshener. A clean room is very therapeutic and when it smells nice, it gives a more relaxing experience. If you are a dirty or careless person and you are feeling stressed, try and keep your room clean, you will notice the difference.
- Eat something light. If you eat heavy, how will you relax (tell me how?)
- Take Ginger, lime/lemon tea. It is super relaxing especially when hot. Take it in sips, as per take your time (don’t ask me why), it is more relaxing that way.
- Soft music. If you do not like classical music, try it abeg. It is super relaxing.
- Do something creative, like painting, knitting, crocheting, sewing (hand sewing is more relaxing because you can easily go gradual with the use of minimal energy). Do activities that do not require much energy.
- You may be dehydrated, so drink water. Yes, drink it.
- Be lazy and watch a movie even if it is an old one. If you like animations, watch. If you have popcorn to add, add. If you don’t, it is okay. Watching movie is one of the laziest ways to relax.
- Do nothing and remain calm. You can meditate on your day and the events you participated in, and on your current and future decisions.
- Turn the light off and sleep.
Bodi no be firewood and we all need rest. If you have the money to go to a spa, have a simple outing or go to a more relaxing environment (an environment created for relaxing), that’s good for you.
The body needs to relax because it can shut off without notice if it is handled poorly. Some health problems are related to stress such as hypertension, stroke, cancer, organ failures, ecetera. So it is best to avoid some of these situations by taking time to rest.
